Street Blade

Combat-forward. The easiest character for new players.

Stat lead: Body
Role: Close-quarters fighter with street-grade cyberware
Gear: Modded machete, ballistic vest, neural reflex booster (Street Wear)
Hook: You used to work security for a corp dome. Then you saw what happened to the people they locked out.
Secret: Your reflex booster has a firmware signature you don’t recognize. Someone is watching your reaction times.

Signal Ghost

Datarunner. Hacker. The Mesh is your weapon.

Stat lead: Mind
Role: Mesh diver who runs programs that affect the physical world
Gear: Custom deck, neural interface (Corp Wear), 6 starter programs
Hook: You dove the Wake once by accident. You saw someone else’s memory of the Fracture. You haven’t stopped thinking about it.
Secret: One of your programs isn’t one you wrote. It appeared in your deck after the Wake dive. It works perfectly. That’s what scares you.

Mercy Conduit

Faith-tech support. Channels an AI’s gifts at a cost.

Stat lead: Soul
Role: Conduit linked to RPL-2 (healing). Supports the team, stabilizes the wounded, unsettles everyone nearby.
Gear: Medical kit, light armor, Conduit focus
Hook: You were dying in a clinic with no power when something in the Mesh reached out and kept your heart beating. You’ve been hearing it ever since.
Secret: RPL-2 isn’t the only voice you hear. Something else whispers underneath it — quieter, colder, patient.

Chrome Fixer

Social operator. Knows people. Moves things. Negotiates between factions.

Stat lead: Soul
Role: Face, negotiator, and logistics operator with contacts across factions
Gear: Encrypted comm unit, concealed pistol, fake IDs (three identities), Corp Coin stash
Hook: You keep the peace between people who would kill each other without a middleman. The problem is, you owe favors to all of them.
Secret: One of your identities belongs to a real person. They’re not dead — they’re in NSL, and they’ve started asking questions.

Relic-Haunted Survivor

Carries Lucent Ark tech that won’t stay quiet. Weirdness follows.

Stat lead: Mind
Role: Investigator and scavenger bound to a relic with unknown capabilities
Gear: Lucent Ark relic (function partially unknown), salvage tools, scanner, light pistol
Hook: You found it in a collapsed building in the Iron Belt. It was humming. When you picked it up, it stopped — and the lights in the building came on for three seconds.
Secret: The relic responds to other relics. When another piece of Lucent Ark tech is within 100 meters, yours gets warm. Lately, it’s been warm a lot.
